My Friends, today’s OOTD is all about tan and black with a beautiful pop of color! ❤️
Today was definitely a casual-look kind of day, and I wanted something comfortable, easy to wear, and of course, budget-friendly because we all know that’s what I love!
I started with tan jeans, added a black-and-tan striped T-shirt, brought in some gold accessories, and then… BAM! A gorgeous cherry-red bag and a few red details completely changed the look.
And let’s just say… I stepped outside my comfort zone a little with those stripes. Okay, maybe a LOT outside my comfort zone! 😂 But you know what? I think this OOTD actually came together beautifully!
The Pants — Comfortable Tan Jeans
Let’s start with these tan-colored jeans from Temu.
First of all, they are SO comfortable! They have plenty of stretch, which is something I really appreciate in a pair of jeans because I am definitely not interested in walking around all day feeling like my clothes are trying to squeeze the life out of me. 😂
The tan color is also incredibly versatile. You can pair tan jeans with so many different colors, making them a great addition to a casual wardrobe.
And, of course, there’s one more thing I love…
They’re affordable!
If you’re styling on a budget, a versatile pair of tan jeans that can be worn with so many tops is definitely a winner in my books.

The Top — Tan & Black Stripes
Now we get to the piece that had me stepping outside my comfort zone!
This tan and black striped T-shirt came from Walmart, and while I love how it looks with the jeans, I have to admit that wearing stripes this substantial felt a little… different for me. 😂
These aren’t tiny, delicate little stripes.
Oh no!
These stripes are SUBSTANTIAL! Haha!
But here’s the funny thing: once everything was put together, the outfit looked cohesive. The tan in the shirt worked beautifully with the tan jeans, while the black stripes tied everything together.
It really did look like these two pieces were meant to be together.
And sometimes that’s exactly how you discover something new that you actually love!

On The Feet — Gold Glitter Sneakers
To bring in a little sparkle, I added my gold glitter sneakers from Amazon.
You already know how I feel about glitter sneakers… if there is a chance to add a little sparkle to an outfit, I’m probably going to take it! ✨
The gold worked beautifully with the tan, and they kept the entire outfit casual and comfortable.
Because let’s be honest, I want my outfits to look cute, but I also want to be able to walk in them! 😂

Accessories — The Belt
I chose a dark brown leather belt with a gold buckle from DHGate.
The darker brown works nicely with the tan jeans, while the gold buckle ties in with the gold glitter sneakers and the rest of my jewelry.
I love when little details like that make an outfit feel pulled together without looking like you tried too hard.

My Jewellery
Rings
On my right hand, I added this double red heart ring from Temu.
It’s a one-size-fits-all ring, and I’m discovering that I really like this style of ring more and more.
Especially when a ring is a little edgy, abstract, or unusual…
I’m all for it!
And those little red hearts helped bring the red from my bag into the rest of the outfit.
On my left hand, my Oura Ring is, of course, coming along for the ride. I stacked it with a narrow silver band with a little red stone, also from Temu.
That tiny bit of red makes such a difference!
Necklace — Sparkle, Sparkle!
My chunky chain of choice today is another Temu find.
What I really love about this necklace is the way the chain links are cut. They’re not all sitting in exactly the same direction or pattern, so when the light hits them just right…
SPARKLE! ✨
And you know me… a little sparkle never hurt anybody!
Watch
Today I went with this rose-gold presidential-style watch with a chocolate-brown dial and a super sparkly bezel, from DHGate.
The chocolate brown dial works so nicely with the tan and brown tones in the outfit, while the rose gold adds another warm metallic element.
And that sparkly bezel?
Well… obviously I couldn’t resist! 😂

The Bag — My Pop of Color! ❤️
And here is where we bring in the POP OF COLOR!
This gorgeous cherry-red bag from DHGate was the perfect way to brighten up today’s tan-and-black outfit.
And My Friends…
This bag is SOOOO squishy!
It is incredibly soft and smooth, and I am definitely a tactile person. If something feels soft, squishy and smooth, I am immediately drawn to it.
Add a beautiful color to that?
I’m coming home with it! 😂❤️
And then there’s the adorable little bell bag charm that came with it.
That little bell reminds me of Christmas, which happens to be my all-time favourite holiday of the year.
So naturally, I love it!
The cherry red also ties beautifully into my red heart ring and the little red stone ring, making the pop of color feel intentional rather than random.

Sunnies — If Only The Weather Cooperated! 😂
Now, if I were actually wearing sunglasses today…
I would choose these Temu sunglasses with black arms, a gold frame and beautiful brown lenses.
But let’s just say the weather wasn’t exactly cooperating.
It has been dark, rainy and cold.
Rainy.
Dark.
And cold.
Did I mention that already? 😂😂
So instead of sunglasses, I was much more interested in an umbrella and a winter jacket!
But if the sun had decided to make an appearance, these would definitely have been my choice.

The Finished Look
I really love how this casual OOTD came together.
The tan jeans create the neutral foundation, the black-and-tan striped top adds some contrast, the gold sneakers and jewelry bring warmth and sparkle, and that gorgeous cherry-red bag gives the entire outfit a little personality.
And maybe the biggest lesson from today’s outfit is this:
Sometimes stepping a little outside your comfort zone can be a GOOD thing!
Even if the stripes initially made me feel like I was venturing into unfamiliar fashion territory, once I put everything together, I actually loved the finished look.
And that’s what I love about fashion.
You can experiment.
You can have fun.
You can change your mind.
And you absolutely do NOT need to spend a fortune to look and feel fabulous!
