Summer Office Outfit on a Budget: Chic, Professional & Comfortable

I pulled this entire look together with pieces from Temu, Amazon, DHGate and even my local thrift store. Because looking fabulous on a budget? That’s something I can definitely get behind!

Dressy Black Walking Shorts

I started off with these black dressy walking shorts from Temu, and I think they are such a perfect addition to a summer work wardrobe.
The length falls a little below the knee, which makes them a great option for an office environment where you want something a little more polished than traditional shorts.
The fabric is dressy, drapes nicely over the tummy and, most importantly, they are SUPER comfortable to wear all day long.
And My Friends, when I can find something that looks professional AND feels comfortable, I consider that a win!
I really think a pair of dressy walking shorts like these can become a summer wardrobe staple for the office. They are easy to dress up, easy to style and can be paired with so many different tops and accessories.

Glitter Sneakers… Office Appropriate?

Now let’s talk about my shoes!
I added my black glitter sneakers from Amazon, and these may or may not be considered office appropriate depending on where you work.
Why?
Well, the glitter might make you outshine all your colleagues! 😂
But… maybe that’s worth a try! Haha!
Honestly, I love my glitter sneakers, but if you feel like they are a little too sparkly for your workplace, you can easily swap them out for a pair of black sandals, flats or pumps.
And they would look absolutely perfect paired with these walking shorts.

The Black Leather Belt

My belt of choice today is this black leather belt with the silver buckle, and this one came from DHGate.
A simple black belt is one of those accessories that can pull an entire outfit together.
And I love the silver buckle with this look because it gives me another little touch of silver to coordinate with my jewelry and watch.

A Thrift Store Bargain!

Now let’s get to my blouse because this one has a little story behind it.
I picked this blouse up at a local thrift store, and the white color with the black animal print detailing matches perfectly with these black walking shorts.
It has three-quarter-length sleeves, which keeps it looking stylish while still being practical for the office.
But here’s the best part…

It was BRAND NEW, with the tags still attached!

And this blouse was originally from Ricki’s.
My Friends, I LOVE finding a bargain!
Every once in a while, I will pop into a thrift store just to see what goodies I can come out with. You never know what you’re going to find.
And when you find that perfect piece that feels like it was made just for you AND you stay on budget…

My Bangles

My bangles are the same ones I wear quite often.
Today, the first three are from a private seller named Pink, and the last two are from DHGate.
I love mixing pieces from different places because I don’t believe your accessories all have to come from the same store—or even cost a lot of money—to look fabulous together.

My Rings

On my left hand, I am wearing a black onyx stone set in a gold-tone band from Temu.
Well… what we like to THINK is gold! 😂
And on my other hand, I have my Oura Ring, which is my health and fitness tracker.
I love mixing my fashion jewelry with my everyday pieces because it makes the whole look feel much more personal.

My Necklace

My necklace today is this short, chunky pearl necklace with a drop heart pendant, and this one also came from Temu.
I really love how the pearls soften the black and white color combination while the heart pendant adds that little feminine touch.

My Watch

Now, you know I couldn’t finish this outfit without a watch!
My watch of choice today is this one with the silver Jubilee-style band, silver dial and sparkly diamond-style bezel, and this beauty came from DHGate.
The sparkle around the bezel adds just enough glam to this otherwise classic office outfit.
Because you know me… I do like a little sparkle! ✨

My Super Soft & Squishy Bag

My bag of choice today is this super soft and squishy bag from Temu.
And My Friends, after all this time and collecting bags, I can tell you that there are certain styles that just stand the test of time in my collection.
This is one of them.
She is NOT on the resale list yet! 😂
When a bag makes it through all of my collecting and rotating, you know I really love it.
The soft, squishy texture makes it feel casual enough for everyday wear while still looking polished enough to work with this office outfit.

My Black Sunnies

And finally, my sunglasses!
These are my black sunglasses from Temu, with black arms, a black frame and darker black lenses.
They are simple, classic and go perfectly with this black and white summer outfit.
And let’s be honest… every summer outfit needs a good pair of sunnies!
