Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone in Chocolate Brown & Cow Print Jeans

Stepping out of your comfort zone can sometimes be a scary step, but it can also teach you something about yourself. And My Friends, I truly believe that you are never too old to try something new!
Today is one of those days for me.
I stepped out of my comfort zone and wore something that I honestly never thought I would wear… an off-the-shoulder top!

First of all, I never thought that I had nice shoulders to show off in an off-the-shoulder style anything. But as I am getting older, I am realizing something very important… I can wear anything I want!
There really are no rules when it comes to your personal style or personal taste. And honestly, I have also reached that wonderful point in life where I just stopped caring what other people may think.
This is me. If you like my style, wonderful! If you don’t like my style, that is perfectly fine with me too.

So today, I learned something about myself… I absolutely LOVE an off-the-shoulder look on me! And there is absolutely nothing wrong with my shoulders. I am truly blessed to have two perfectly good-looking, perfectly working shoulders, and I think it is about time I appreciated them!

The Star of the Show: My Chocolate Brown Off-the-Shoulder Top

Let’s start with the star of today’s outfit… this gorgeous chocolate brown off-the-shoulder top.
Oh My Friends… I am totally in love with this top!
The colour is beautiful, the quality is super good, it is well made, and best of all… it was affordable. And you know me, I am all about affordable fashion!
This beautiful new addition to my wardrobe came from Winners, and I think it is safe to say that I will be wearing it again and again.
Chocolate brown is such a beautiful, rich colour, and I absolutely love how it can look classy, warm and a little bit luxurious without even trying too hard.

My Gold Necklace

For my necklace today, I chose this pretty chunky-but-not-too-chunky gold chain from Temu.
It is such a beautiful shade of gold and, in my opinion, it is the perfect size… not too big and not too small.
I especially love how it fills in the neckline of the off-the-shoulder top so beautifully. It adds a little something extra to the outfit while still allowing the top to be the focal point.

Cow Print Jeans from Temu

Now, let’s talk about these jeans!
I paired my chocolate brown top with my cow print jeans from Temu, and I absolutely loved how easily these two pieces worked together.
The dark chocolate brown in the top matched beautifully with the darker brown cow print in the jeans, and the whole outfit just pulled together with ease.
Sometimes you put an outfit together and think, “Hmmmm… will this work?” Then you put it on and think… “Ohhhh yes, this works!”
That was this outfit for me!

White Vans from SoftMoc

My sneakers of choice today were my classic white Vans from SoftMoc.
The white sneakers blended perfectly with the white in the cow print jeans and helped keep the entire outfit casual and comfortable.
I love adding sneakers to an outfit like this because they make the look feel effortless. A little bit different, a little bit fun and still completely wearable!

My Bangles Never Ghost Me!

And of course… my bangles!
My bangles never ghost anyone because they are screwed on, so wherever I go… they are there with me! Hahaha!
The first three bangles came from a private seller named Pink, and the last two came from DHGate.
They have become such a regular part of my style that it almost feels strange when I don’t have them on. They are definitely my little arm companions!

The Dark Brown Belt

My belt also blended beautifully with everything today.
I wore this dark brown leather belt with a gold buckle from DHGate, and it helped tie the chocolate brown top, cow print jeans and gold accessories together.
Sometimes the smallest accessory can make an outfit feel complete, and I think the belt did exactly that today.

My Rings… Including a Beautiful Surprise!

My rings today included one big and beautiful surprise!
On my right hand, I wore this gorgeous red double-heart design ring from Temu.
Now, I am truly not usually a big fan of one-size-fits-all rings. But My Friends… I am learning that they are not all that bad, depending on the style!
This ring has one pretty heart on one side and another heart on the other side, with an opening in the middle. It is unique, beautiful, well made and honestly… I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved it!
On my left hand is my Oura Ring, my health and fitness tracker. This ring is a lot like my bangles… although it can come off without any problems, it is almost always on!
It tracks everything as I go about my daily tasks, and the only time it comes off is when it needs to charge.

My Rose Gold Watch

My watch of choice today is this beautiful rose-gold Presidential-style band watch with a chocolate dial and a sparkly fluted bezel.
And ohhhhh, it is beautiful!
The rose gold and chocolate combination worked perfectly with today’s outfit, and the sparkle added just a little touch of glam.
This watch came from DHGate, and as you already know… watches are definitely one of my things!

My Brown Leather Bag

My bag of choice today is this pretty brown leather bag that I found when Walmart had them listed online.
It worked perfectly with the chocolate brown tones throughout my outfit.

My Temu Sunnies

And finally, my sunnies!
I chose these pretty little sunglasses from Temu with black arms, gold frames and brown lenses.
They were the perfect finishing touch to today’s look and brought together the black, gold and brown tones throughout the outfit.
Honestly, I think today’s outfit taught me a little lesson…
Try the thing. Wear the top. Step out of your comfort zone.
You may discover that the thing you were afraid to try is actually something you absolutely love.
And My Friends, whether you are 20, 40, 59 or beyond… you are never too old to discover something new about yourself, your confidence or your personal style.
There are no age limits on fashion. There are no rules that say you cannot wear something because you have reached a certain age.
Wear what makes you happy.
Wear what makes you feel good.
