Neutral Outfit with Animal Print | Affordable Fashion Over 50

Today’s outfit is all about the neutral color palette… well, with a little animal print thrown into the mix!
Now, you may be thinking, “But Shelley, you have animal print on your top… that’s not neutral!”
Yes, My Friends, it is! Animal print is considered a neutral, and that is one of the many reasons why I love it so much. It can be paired with so many different colours, dressed up or down, and adds just enough interest to an outfit without taking over the entire look.
Today’s look is comfortable, stylish, affordable and, of course, there is a little bit of glitter involved because… would it really be one of my outfits without some sparkle? Haha!

My Tan Jeans from Temu

Let’s start with my beautiful tan jeans from Temu.
These jeans are more than just super comfortable. The denim is incredibly soft, the colour is the perfect shade of tan, and they have just enough stretch to make them comfortable for all-day wear.
And, of course, the most important thing… at least for me and what I am all about… they are very, very affordable!
I absolutely love finding affordable clothing that doesn’t mean giving up comfort or style. These tan jeans are such a versatile piece and work beautifully with so many colours and prints, especially animal print.

Gold Glitter Sneakers from Amazon

My sneakers are, of course, containing glitter.
I am sure that did not surprise you! Haha!
But My Friends, everyone needs a little glitter on their feet. It just makes every step a little more happy!
These sneakers have beautiful gold glitter, and I got them from Amazon. They add a little sparkle to this neutral casual outfit while still working perfectly with the tan, brown and animal print colour palette.
Who says comfortable sneakers can’t be stylish and fun too?

Animal Print Vest from Temu

And now we come to the neutral in question… my beautiful animal print vest from Temu!
Animal print is one of those prints that I truly believe works almost like a neutral. It pairs beautifully with black, brown, tan, cream, denim and so many other colours.
This vest is stylish, comfortable and, once again, affordable. It adds personality and interest to the outfit while keeping everything within that beautiful neutral colour palette.

A Dark Brown Belt to Finish the Look

My belt is somewhat hidden today, but My Friends, it is still there!
Personally, I feel that belts are meant for jeans. Without one, I always feel like there is something missing. Even when you cannot see the entire belt, it still helps finish the look.
Today’s choice is this very dark brown leather belt with a gold buckle, and this one came from DHGate.
It works perfectly with the dark brown bag, the gold accessories and all the warm neutral tones in today’s outfit.

My Everyday Bangle Stack

My bangle stack always seems to show up in my daily outfits… haha… mostly because they are actually screwed onto my wrist!
The first three bangles came from a private seller named Pink, and the bottom two bangles came from DHGate.
They have become part of my everyday look, and I love how they add a little extra something to every outfit.

Why Have a Little When You Can Have More?

My rings today are stacked on both hands because, well… why have a little when you can have more?
That is my theory for today anyway! Haha!
On my right hand, I have my Ultrahuman Ring Air, which is my health and fitness tracker. I stacked it with this beautiful silver zipper-style ring that I got from Temu.
On my left hand, I did the opposite. I have my silver Oura Ring, which is my second health and fitness tracker, and underneath it, I have a gold zipper-style ring from Temu.
I mixed my metals today with both gold and silver, and I love how both hands are the same… but different!

My Rootbeer Watch from DHGate

My watch of choice today is this beautiful rose gold watch with an oyster perpetual-style band, a black dial and a ceramic bezel.
This watch is nicknamed Rootbeer, and I absolutely love it!
But then again… I love watches, so they are all my favourites. Haha!
This one came from DHGate and works beautifully with the warm gold, brown and tan tones throughout today’s outfit.

Dark Brown Faux Suede Bag from Temu

My bag of choice today is this dark brown faux suede shoulder bag from Temu.
The bag itself has a really pretty faux suede texture and looks beautiful with today’s outfit. I do have one concern, though. While I like the style of the bag, the shoulder straps could definitely be better.
They are a little thin and seem to be lacking substance, so I am not completely sure how well the handles will hold up over the long term.
However, as a bag to wear for style and not necessarily as an everyday workhorse, I think it is good. It is affordable, stylish and fits perfectly with this neutral colour palette.

My Temu Sunnies

And finally, my sunnies of choice today!
These have black arms, gold frames and brown lenses, and I think they finish off the entire look perfectly.
These stylish sunglasses also came from Temu, proving once again that you can put together a complete, fashionable outfit without spending a fortune.

Affordable Fashion Is Still Fashion

I truly love putting together my daily looks.
Whether it is a casual style, an elegant outfit, something chic, or simply an outfit to run errands, I love showing that you can have fun with fashion while working with a budget.
My Friends, being on a budget does not limit you… but your mind does.
You can do anything, even on a budget.
You can wear what you love. You can experiment with colour. You can mix prints and neutrals. You can wear glitter sneakers with your jeans because they make you happy!
Fashion does not have to be expensive to be stylish, and you don’t need to spend a fortune to feel good when you walk out the door.
Today’s neutral outfit with animal print, tan jeans, glitter sneakers and mixed-metal accessories is just another reminder that affordable fashion can still be fun, stylish and completely you!
