My Friends, today’s OOTD is all about mixing casual with classy! And honestly, isn’t that one of the most fun things about fashion?
Take a pair of casual jeans, add a touch of class with a stunning green velvet blazer, throw in some affordable fashion finds, mix your metals, add a little femininity with pearls and a silk scarf, and voilร … you have a look that is completely YOU!
My Friends, you can mix and match anything that you like. Make it your style, make it your signature style, wear it with confidence and be proud of yourself! โค๏ธ

Jeans
Let’s start with the jeans because they really are the foundation of today’s outfit.
These are my high-waisted, wide-leg jeans from H&M, and I absolutely love the little extra detail they have going on.
They have a seam running straight down the front of each leg, and that little detail makes such a difference! It takes what could have been a basic pair of casual jeans and gives them a much more polished and elevated look.
And that is exactly what I love about fashion โ sometimes it’s the smallest detail that can completely transform an outfit.

The Velvet Blazer
Now let’s add the CLASSY!
This beautiful green velvet blazer is what takes this outfit from casual jeans and a T-shirt to something that feels much more dressed up.
Velvet automatically brings a little bit of luxury and elegance to an outfit, and this gorgeous green colour is right up my alley.
I love the contrast between the relaxed wide-leg jeans and the more luxurious velvet blazer. It’s casual, but it’s classy. It’s comfortable, but it still looks put together.
And isn’t that what we want sometimes?
Comfort AND style!

On The Feet
My sneakers today are my trusty white Vans from SoftMoc.
The white works perfectly with the other white elements I’ve added throughout the outfit, creating a little bit of continuity from head to toe.
And yes, sneakers with a blazer!
Why not?
Fashion doesn’t always have to follow the rules. Sometimes the best outfits happen when you mix pieces that you wouldn’t necessarily think to put together.

The $9 Walmart T-Shirt
Underneath my blazer is one of my favourite affordable wardrobe staples โ this $9 T-shirt from Walmart!
My Friends, these T-shirts were such a steal of a deal, and I wear mine ALL THE TIME.
This is a perfect example of how you don’t have to spend a fortune to build a stylish wardrobe. Find those affordable basics that work for you and then build your outfits around them.

Silk Scarf
Now for one of my favourite details!
I added this beautiful silk scarf from Temu, which has a gorgeous combination of white, gold and green.
But I didn’t wear it as a traditional scarf.
Oh no… haha!
I tied it almost like a men’s tie, and I absolutely love the way it looks.
It gives the outfit this wonderful combination of feminine and masculine style, and that is something I love doing, especially during the fall.
There is just something about wearing a men’s tie-inspired look in the fall that I absolutely LOVE!

Jewellery
To add a little more femininity, I brought in my layered pearl stack from Temu.
The best part? It’s all one piece with a single clasp at the back, so I get the beautiful layered look without having to put together multiple necklaces.
Easy, pretty and feminine!
And yes, we are mixing metals today.
My Friends, you can absolutely mix your metals!
I have silver, gold and black hardware happening throughout this outfit, and rather than looking out of place, I think it adds interest and personality.
There are no fashion police coming to your door because you mixed your metals! ๐
Belt
My belt of choice today is this black leather belt with a silver buckle from DHGate.
The black adds another little bit of structure to the outfit, while the silver buckle works beautifully with the other details I’m wearing.
And once again… mixed metals!
Wear what you love and make it work for YOU.

Rings & Bangles
On my right hand, I’m wearing this beautiful emerald green stone ring with a gold band from Temu.
The green stone ties beautifully into the green velvet blazer, watch and sunnies, creating little pops of the same colour throughout the outfit.
My bangle stack is much smaller than it used to be, but I still love adding a little sparkle and personality to my wrist.
The first bangle is from a private seller named Pink, and the second one is from DHGate.
Oura Ring
And on my left hand, of course, is none other than my Oura Ring.
She is my health and fitness tracker and has become one of those accessories that just seems to live on my finger.
Functional AND fashionable? I’ll take it!

Watch
My watch today is another little pop of green!
This beautiful watch from DHGate has a green leather strap, a green dial and a gorgeous gold square bezel.
I love when accessories can become part of the colour story of an outfit rather than simply being something functional.

Bag
Now let’s talk about my bag!
This beautiful bag came from Amazon, and My Friends… she is SO soft, SO squishy and just SO yummy!
I have nicknamed her Miss Marshmellow because that’s exactly what she reminds me of.
She has that soft, squishy look that makes you want to reach out and touch her, and the white adds another beautiful pop of colour to today’s outfit.
I love how the white bag ties together the white T-shirt, white sneakers and white details in the scarf.

Sunnies
And finally, we have my green sunnies from Temu.
Of course they’re green! Haha!
They are beautiful, super comfortable and they bring yet another little pop of green to the outfit.
I love repeating a colour throughout an outfit because it makes everything feel intentional without being overly matched.

Creating Your Own Style
My Friends, creating your own personal style doesn’t have to be hard or complicated.
You don’t need to walk into a store and buy an entirely new wardrobe every season.
Find the shops that work for you. Find the pieces you love. Buy things one at a time, build your wardrobe slowly and then start mixing and matching those pieces with things you already own.
That’s where the fun begins!
You might be surprised by how many different outfits you can create simply by looking at your wardrobe differently.
And when you’re working with a budget, this is an especially great way to dress. You can find affordable basics, add a few special pieces, mix in accessories and create outfits that look much more expensive than they actually are.
Your style doesn’t have to cost a fortune.
It just has to feel like YOU.
So wear the jeans. Wear the velvet. Wear the pearls. Wear the sneakers with the blazer. Mix your metals. Tie that scarf like a man’s tie if you want to!
And most importantly…
Wear it with confidence. โค๏ธ
