Happy Friday, My Friends! Tonight was date night with my hubby, and we headed out for a movie. Of course, I had to put together an outfit that was comfortable enough for walking around but still cute enough for date night!
Today’s OOTD is all about blue, blue pinstripes and crisp white accessories. I think this look is the perfect combination of casual, classy and affordable… and you all know that helping you look your best while staying on a budget is what I am all about here!
Let’s start with these beautiful blue pinstripe jeans. I absolutely LOVE these jeans! Even though they are technically jeans, they definitely feel a little dressier than your regular pair.
They are high-waisted and wide-legged, which is always a YES from me! Wide-leg pants have a wonderful way of giving the appearance of being taller and slimmer than you actually are, and honestly… who doesn’t love a little help in that department?
The fine white pinstripe is what really makes these jeans special. I am a complete sucker for pinstripe pants, but adding pinstripes to denim gives them a much more polished and classy vibe. They can easily be dressed up while still keeping that comfortable, casual feel. And the best part? They are super affordable!
For my shoes, I added my classic white Vans from SoftMoc. When I know we are going to be doing a lot of walking, comfort is important to me. But I don’t want to sacrifice style either! These give me both, so for me, that’s a definite win, win!!
My blue T-shirt from Walmart was another amazing affordable find. It was only $9.00… seriously, what a steal of a deal! It is super soft with a fine ribbed texture, and it comes in loads of different colours. Don’t miss out on these if you happen to see them!
For my accessories, I chose a white leather belt with a silver buckle from DHGate. I thought it picked up the white pinstripe in the jeans perfectly and helped pull the entire blue-and-white look together.
My bangles, well… they made their daily appearance, of course! The first three came from a private seller named Pink, and the last two came from DHGate. You all know me and my bangles… I just don’t feel quite right without them!
On my right hand, I wore a silver ring with a HUGE “diamond.” That’s what I like to think it is anyway… shhh, our little secret! This beautiful “diamond” ring came from Temu.
On my left hand, I have none other than my Oura Ring, my health and fitness tracker that I wear every day.
My watch choice for today matched my outfit perfectly! It has a silver presidential-style band, a stunning blue motif dial, diamond batons and a sparkly fluted bezel. It was the perfect finishing touch for my blue-and-white OOTD, and this beauty came from DHGate.
Then we have my necklace… otherwise known as my fussy necklace!
It really is very, very beautiful, but My Friends… it is SO fussy. The layers are deliberately positioned to be crooked and mixed together. So, if you are even the slightest bit OCD, this necklace may drive you a little crazy!
I quickly found out that the layers are NOT supposed to sit in an orderly fashion at all. I have tried… believe me! But in the end, I decided to go with the flow because the necklace really is beautiful. This one came from Temu.
My bag of choice was this beautiful white top-handle style bag from DHGate. I thought it matched the blue and white in my outfit perfectly while adding a polished finishing touch.
And for my sunnies, I wore the same ones as yesterday. They have gold arms, no frames and a gorgeous gradient grey lens. These came from Temu, and I have been loving them!
Overall, I think this outfit gave me exactly what I was looking for tonight: comfortable enough for a movie, casual enough that I didn’t feel overdressed, but classy enough for Friday date night with my hubby.
