Can you guess where my focal point is today?
Today I am wearing an all black outfit, but you know me… there is always going to be a little something that sneaks in and steals the show! And today, there are actually a few contenders. Haha!
I started with my black faux suede pants from Winners, and let’s just say… at 11° and rainy here today, it is a wonder I didn’t haul out my winter jackets! Honestly, this weather is giving me a little preview of fall WAY too early for my liking! But since I had to head out to the hospital for some tests today, I knew comfort had to be part of the outfit. And, of course, that doesn’t mean I was going to give up on looking stylish!
Starting With a Little Black
My black faux suede pants were the starting point for today’s outfit. I really love the look of faux suede because it adds a little bit of texture to an otherwise very simple black-on-black outfit.
Underneath my blouse, I wore one of my black slimming bodysuits from Amazon.
My Friends… I LOVE these things!
They keep all those unwanted little jelly rolls nicely hidden away, and that is something I can definitely get behind! Haha! They also give me a nice smooth base underneath a blouse, which is especially important with today’s top.
A Little Sheer, A Little Elegant
The blouse today has such an elegant look to it.
It is black, which already gives it that classic, sophisticated feeling, but it is also sheer, which is exactly why that bodysuit was needed underneath.
And can we talk about those sleeves?
I absolutely LOVE the puffy sleeve detail! It gives the blouse a more sophisticated and feminine look without making the outfit feel too dressy.
This is one of those pieces that proves an all-black outfit doesn’t have to be boring. Adding different textures, fabrics and details can make black outfit styling really interesting.
And Then… The Glitter!
Now, my sneakers today?
Ohhh yes! Black glitter sneakers from Amazon.
Because, as I always say…
Glitter makes the step a little happy for me!
Especially when I have to go out in cold, rainy weather to have tests done at the hospital, I need a little something to make my feet happy!
Comfort was absolutely non-negotiable today, and these sneakers gave me exactly that while still adding a little sparkle to my outfit.
You know I am never going to turn down a little glitter!
My Bangles Are Basically Part of Me
In every OOTD, my bangles seem to make an appearance, and little wonder…
They are permanently screwed to my wrist!
I absolutely LOVE them, and they came from a private seller named Pink.
They have become one of those signature pieces that just feel like me, so of course they were coming along for today’s outfit.
Gold, Black and a Little Chunky
For my chunky chain today, I went with this gorgeous gold and black statement chain from Temu.
I love adding a chunky necklace to an outfit like this because it breaks up all that black and gives the eye another interesting detail to look at.
And I think this is where the fun starts with an all-black outfit. You can really play around with your accessories because black gives you such a great canvas to work with.
My Green Ring Steals a Little Attention
On my right hand today, I wore this beautiful gold band with a big green jade stone, and this one is definitely a standout piece!
It is simply stunning, and the best part?
It is super affordable and came from Temu.
And if you know me, you already know that green is one of my favourite colours, so naturally I was going to sneak some green into today’s black outfit!
And Yes… My Oura Ring Is Here Too!
On my left hand, I have my Oura Ring.
Yes, this is one of those everyday pieces that basically never leaves me except when it needs to be charged.
It tracks so many things, including steps, heart rate, stress management and sleep patterns, and I find it absolutely fascinating.
And this ring has a little extra sentimental meaning for me because I have been with Oura since the company first opened.
So, yes… it has definitely earned its place on my finger!
A Watch With a Little More Sparkle
On my other wrist is my watch.
Ohhh, how I love watches!
This one is a rose gold presidential band watch with a green dial and a gorgeous sparkly bezel.
I mean… come on!
Green dial + sparkle + rose gold?
You KNOW I was going to love this one!
This beauty came from DHGate and is such a pretty statement piece without being overwhelming.
Now Let’s Talk About This Bag!
I go from one love to another… because, My Friends, I LOVE my bags!
But this one is particularly special.
It is a medium-sized clutch in the most gorgeous chartreuse green shade, and it has a kiss-lock closure.
I absolutely LOVE a kiss-lock closure because it gives a bag that little vintage-inspired touch, and I think it can add so much character to an outfit.
And yes, this gorgeous bag came from Temu too!
But wait… there is more!
The Bag Chain That Takes It Up a Notch
The extra-special detail on my bag today is none other than my Ferial Rose Bag Chain.
My Friends, these are some of the best bag chains I have ever had!

Adding a beautiful bag chain is such an easy way to completely change the look of a handbag. It can make a simple bag feel much more special, and you know I am all about those little details!
And Finally… My Rainy-Day Sunnies!
Now let’s address the elephant in the room…
Why am I wearing sunglasses on a dark, cloudy, rainy day?
I have absolutely NO defence for this one!
But I feel like my outfit just doesn’t look complete without my sunnies.
And before you even ask…
NO, I do not wear sunglasses at night! Hahaha!
These particular sunglasses are gorgeous. They have a gold and green frame, green arms and these beautiful green lenses.
But the BEST part?
They are probably the most comfortable sunglasses I have ever worn.
They are fantastic in the comfort department, beautiful in quality and, of course, they are super affordable.
And yes… these came from Temu too!
So… Did You Guess My Focal Point?
Looking at this outfit, I think there are actually several places your eyes could go.
The green jade ring, the green watch dial, the chartreuse bag, the bag chain, the glitter sneakers…
But if I had to choose my focal point for today’s outfit, I think that gorgeous chartreuse green bag has to take the prize!
I love how the entire outfit starts with a classic all-black base, and then the accessories bring it to life.
And that is one of my favourite ways to style an outfit. Keep the clothing simple, then let the accessories do some of the talking!
Even when the weather is cold, rainy and absolutely NOT cooperating with my fashion plans!
