H&M Biker Jacket: The Spur-of-the-Moment Purchase I Had to Have! 🤎

My Friends… sometimes a shopping purchase is planned, and sometimes you are simply freezing to death in a mall and HAVE to buy something! 😂

This biker jacket from H&M was definitely the second one!

And honestly? I am so glad I bought it.

🧥 The Story Behind the Jacket

Hubby and I went out for a date night, and I was wearing my awesome cow-print jeans—which I absolutely LOVE—with my brown off-the-shoulder T-shirt, another favourite.

It was a beautiful, sunny day and really wasn’t cold outside.

But then we arrived at the mall…

WHY WAS IT LIKE WALKING INTO A FREEZER?! 😂

I looked at hubby and said, I need to buy a sweater or sweatshirt. I don’t care what it is, but it needs to be warm and it needs to happen NOW!

And that’s when the story begins…

Hubby suggested we check out H&M.

Yes, my friends… he knows me all too well! 😂

As soon as we walked up to H&M, I spotted a biker jacket on a mannequin in the window.

And…

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!

I told hubby, I want THAT one!

We went inside, had a little look around, and eventually found the jacket.

And without actually tripping over my own feet during my mad dash to the jackets… I got there! HAHA!

I grabbed a large and tried it on, but hubby immediately said it was too big.

So he found me a medium.

He STILL thought the medium was a little too big, but I insisted on keeping it because I wanted to be able to wear a sweater underneath when the weather gets colder.

And that, my Friends, is how this spur-of-the-moment purchase came home with me.

But let’s be honest…

Aren’t ALL purchases necessary, girls?! 😂😂

🤎 The Jacket

This faux-leather biker jacket comes in this beautiful very dark, blackened brown shade, which is absolutely perfect for my colour palette.

And brown is one of my favourite colours, so this one was already winning!

But the texture…

OH MY!

The faux leather is incredibly soft. And because I am someone who LOVES feeling different fabrics and textures, this was a huge selling point for me.

It has a shorter, waist-length style, beautiful cuffs at the ends of the sleeves, and a belt that buckles at the front.

There are also plenty of belt loops to keep the belt exactly where it belongs.

But there is one detail that REALLY stands out to me…

That Collar!

The collar has almost a memory fold to it.

You know how a twist tie can stay twisted after you’ve bent it?

The collar does something similar!

You can stand the collar up, and it stays standing.

I have no idea exactly how they designed it that way, but I think it’s genius!

It gives the jacket a completely different look depending on how you wear it.

💰 Is It Worth It?

YES!

I think H&M may be running a special around now, so it’s worth checking to see if this jacket is included in their sale.

But even if it isn’t…

My Friends, I still think this jacket is worth getting!

The colour, softness, fit, details and versatility make this one of those pieces I know I’m going to reach for again and again.

And because I bought the medium, I can layer it over a sweater when the weather gets colder.

That’s what I call planning ahead! 😉

So, how did the night turn out?

The movie was awesome, I was warm, and I had no better company than my hubby.
